Why we built this

Most "make money online" lists for South Africa are copied from American sites and never tested locally. They recommend platforms that do not pay out in ZAR, require US bank accounts, or have already shut down. We got tired of that and decided to build something that actually works for people in SA.

What we do

We review side-hustle platforms — survey sites, microtask apps, freelance marketplaces, cashback tools — by signing up, completing tasks, and waiting for actual payment. If we cannot get paid, the platform does not get recommended. We also call out scams explicitly, because a list that pretends everything is legitimate is useless.

Beyond reviews, we publish practical guides: how to set up a PayPal account from SA, which platforms stack well together, how to avoid the most common withdrawal traps.

Who this is for

Students who need grocery money between bursary payments. Young professionals who want to pay down debt faster. Anyone in South Africa who has a phone, a few spare hours, and no interest in get-rich-quick schemes — just real platforms that reliably move small amounts of money.

We assume you have basic internet access and a South African bank account or mobile wallet. We do not assume anything beyond that.
