What is Yaga?
Yaga is South Africa's largest dedicated secondhand-fashion marketplace. You open a shop, list clothing, shoes and accessories, and buyers pay through the platform rather than directly to you. Because the money runs through Yaga, the fake-EFT-confirmation scams that plague Gumtree and Facebook Marketplace simply do not work here. Yaga takes a percentage commission on each completed sale and handles courier shipping, so you never meet a stranger to hand over goods. How It Works
Download the Yaga app or use yaga.co.za, open a free shop, and photograph your items. List each piece with a price and description. When someone buys, they pay into Yaga — you get a notification, print the label, and drop the parcel at the courier/PUDO point. Once the buyer confirms they received the item, the money lands in your Yaga wallet (minus Yaga's commission). Withdraw your wallet balance to your South African bank account via EFT.
