How This Scam Works

Facebook and Instagram ads promise South Africans R500+ per day for completing surveys through 'Survey Junkie South Africa.' The ads use the real Survey Junkie logo and branding without permission. Clicking the link leads to a fake website that asks for personal information and sometimes an 'activation fee' of R99-R299. The real Survey Junkie (surveyjunkie.com) is a US-only platform and has no South African version.

Red Flags to Watch For
