What is Premise?
Premise is a micro-task app where you earn small amounts of cash for completing location-based tasks — photographing products on shelves, verifying business listings, answering local surveys, or auditing store displays. Tasks are hyperlocal, so availability in SA cities varies significantly by neighbourhood.
How It Works
Download the Premise app from the App Store or Google Play and create an account. Open the map view to see available tasks near your location — these might be photographing a product at a specific store, verifying whether a business is open, or answering a short survey about local conditions. Accept a task, travel to the location (usually a few hundred metres away), complete the task within the time window, and submit via the app. Tasks pay $0.10-$10 depending on complexity, with most SA tasks in the $0.50-$2 range. Earnings accumulate in your Premise wallet. Withdraw via PayPal once you hit $1, though actual processing can take several weeks.
